I Was Trying To Come Up With a Creative Title So I Came Up With: Linsanity

If you’re still on the fence about Jeremy Lin after seeing this blog post he made when he was 15, I suggest you go back to the hospital and ask for what most call a “heart”. When you’ve acquired a soul, maybe eaten a happy meal and played a little bit with your Ben Ten action figure, I hope that you realize Jeremy Lin is the epitome of what every athlete should try to be. He’s humble in every sense of the word, and even makes funny faces in the mirror. Reporters are shoving “look at me” questions in his face everyday, yet I’ve never heard Lin toot his own horn. I love this story.

I don’t care if I’m jumping on the media bandwagon, because I did the same thing with Tebow. It has nothing to do with the media.  It’s not like I have a crush on Brett Favre and want to pet the silver fur on his head…that was weird. The point is, Tebow and Lin don’t ask for any media attention, nor do they even want it.

People always ask me why I love sports so much. I may or may not have made that up. But just in case I didn’t, this is what my answer would be: If one day someone stripped Tebow and Lin (....... lol) of their talents, guess what? They would be the exact same person. They would be the same self-less and modest people they are today. That's what makes their stories so captivating and heartwarming. Good people getting rewarded for being good people. That’s why I love sports. For stories like these.

Also I think it’s funny there are rumors about Kim Kardashian and Jeremy Lin. That’s also why I like sports.
